Designing websites began for me as an interest, became a hobby, and is now an obsession. Over the past 5 years I have tackled projects ranging from small school assignments to huge university sites. Code can be pretty too. I write the cleanest XHTML, CSS, and Javascript I possibly can for maximum accessability, search engine optimization, and cross-browser performance. I also am experienced with database development, OOP in Java and PHP, and Content Management Systems like Joomla! and Wordpress.
Safe CPA
This blog design and development for a Milwaukee area CPA uses Wordpress enhanced with a few Worpdress plugins. Logo design, search engine optimization, and analytics integration were also involved in this project.
Surry Hill Trends
Surry Hill Trends is a subscriber-based website set up with Wordpress. This custom blog design, theme development, and subscription integration project uses several Wordpress plugins and Wordpress 3.0 features.
Down 2 Earth Nutrion
This Wordpress site was designed and developed for a Milwaukee area start-up which provides nutrition and general health consulting services. This is the first site developed with my front-end framework which has greatly shortened development time.
Darkhouse Studios
Developed with the Erlang powered Zotonic CMS, the Darkhouse Studios site was developed for a Milwaukee area video game start-up. With the site design and development completed, the content producers are adding content through the CMS as it becomes available.
Institute on Race & Ethnicity
Created as a student worker, the IRE website is the most expansive website I have independently developed. The project began with analyzing the IRE's legacy website to determine areas of needed improvement, and then came initial design followed by nearly 6 months of page building and feature development before release. After the site was live I trained the staff on making updates and additions using Dreamweaver.
Discover and Learn
Discover and Learn is a website designed and developed for a Milwaukee area musician who creates highly praised educational rap and hip-hop songs. The site uses a PayPal shopping cart and a Content Management System which allows for easy maintenance of the site, including the guestbook and contact form.
Ad Design

North Shore Presbyterian
This freelance web development project was incredibly easy and enjoyable. Most of the website design was done by a church employee and my role was to modify and convert these designs into various page templates integrated into a Content Management System.
The Washing Machine Man
This is my first freelance web design project! I developed this website for a Milwaukee area business and learned a ton about web design, development and Content Management Systems in the process.
Just One Day Without Failing
This Wordpress blog showcases my occasional moments of self-deprecating humor. Developing the site involved designing it from scratch and converting and tweaking the design into a Wordpress theme. Blogging about my shortcomings has actually become quite a cathartic and enjoyble process!
Personal Music Websites
These websites were developed for my various musical ventures. I designed, developed, and continue to maintain them in my spare time. Each site features a Flash music player and recently some cool effects and animations using jQuery.
Works in Progress
